Technologies

Datum Connect's proprietary technology is developed using the following platforms: MS Windows 2000 Advanced Server, MS SQL, XML, ASP and JavaScript. Microsoft technologies and XML standards provide us with a comprehensive, easy to use, high performance and extremely flexible base to conduct any developments.

Website designs are produced using tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Flash, Adobe Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Cool Edit (for sound information).

Security and Reliability

Datum Connect's network is designed to be highly reliable. Every care has been taken to make sure that there is a reliable network. To maintain the integrity of our client's data stored on our servers, we maintain backups daily and take copies off site.

To minimise server downtime against hardware failure our web servers are configured in clusters; if one computer fails another computer will take its place and the load is balanced. Clustering allows for the best possible performance and reliability. Datum Connect has both UPS and Generator backup in place should a power outage occur.

Backups

To maintain the integrity of our client's data stored on our servers we maintain backups daily and take copies off site. In the event of any data loss, a backup from the night before may be restored.

Problem Resolution

Based on each different type of issue, a different priority will be allocated. Response does not represent issue resolution. Response time is communication with the issuer and a timeframe of when the issue is likely to be resolved.
