Datum Connect - Winners in the 2009 Vero excellence in business support awards! On the 28th May, 2009 Datum Connect won the award for BDO Spicers Business under $5M turnover One on One Offering. The award recognises excellence in the field of business support for businesses who offer a real contribution in providing quality products and services, making life easier for business owners.
 

History of Datum Connect

Datum Connect was established on Valentines Day February 2002 by Danny Ing and Rob Williams. Funnily enough they didn't realise this until two years later when their first female employee brought this to their attention. Since then, Datum Connect has come far from its humble beginnings in a three-bedroom South Auckland home to become a fully operational business facility.

Today, eight years on the company employs between 16 and 22 staff depending on workloads and serves well over 1000 small and medium sized businesses. The secret? A determined but fun attitude combined with intelligent, practical systems that work for you, not the other way around!

The future aspiration of Datum Connect is focusing on franchising the business. This was cemented in February 2007 with the signing of their first franchisee. The company is looking to expand the Datum Connect brand within New Zealand and with an ultimate goal of going global.

Here at Datum Connect we know that, for many businesses, maintaining and updating information online is just another task in a long list of must-do's, which is why we focus on creating unique software to help with database integration. Our revolutionary content management system allows anyone to easily update their website's content without any knowledge of programming.
